Principal Openings:
The Archdiocese of Newark Schools Office is currently accepting applications for the position of elementary school principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Those wishing to be considered for principal positions should submit requested documents to Barbara Dolan at [email protected].
Candidates must possess educational vision, leadership skills, organizational ability and strong interpersonal strengths. Must be a committed Catholic who can inspire faculty and staff and engage parents and students in pursuit of both spiritual development and academic excellence.
REQUIREMENTS
ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL PRESIDENT
The President is the chief executive officer of St. Joseph Regional High School and the external face of the school. This individual reports directly to the Associate Superintendent for Secondary Schools. The President oversees and works in collaboration with the Consultative Board, providing support and direction for strategic goals. The President has overall responsibility for the management of St. Joseph Regional High School, with the primary function of simultaneously growing and advancing the school.
The President provides visionary leadership and direction to ensure the mission and core values of the school are maintained and strategic goals are achieved. The President will lead the school in the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of an exceptional program that supports and promotes the school’s mission and values with particular emphasis on the religious and spiritual orientation of the school.
The President is a proven fundraiser and “friend raiser” for the school, a passionate spokesperson for St. Joseph Regional High School, and proactive in seeking grants and gifts that will assist the school in financing its goals. The President will enthusiastically engage alumni, parents, businesses, community, government, and related stakeholders to seek opportunities to support the vision of the school.
The President is a proven administrator and visionary leader with a business background, who will develop a strong school community working collaboratively with the Consultative Board, the Principal and senior administration to effectively govern the school, ensure fiscal stability, and build upon the school’s record of achievement.
